David Verdi is a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend and last but not least, a NY State Certified Arborist and the owner of The Ornamental Arborist, L.L.C.

Since he was a young boy, David always lead his life with an artistic eye and creative spirit. His deep appreciation for nature and preservation of trees led him to choosing Paul Smith’s College graduating with a degree in Forestry and concentrating in Urban Tree Management. His passion is providing and managing high end plant material, focusing on ornamental pruning as it’s forever changing.

Immediately after graduating, David moved to Portland, Maine with the opportunity to work as a tree climber for a large well known company. There he gained much knowledge and “learning the ropes” (no pun intended, haha). A year later, he moved back to his hometown Buffalo, New York. Dave continuously worked hard, countless hours honing and perfecting his craft using an artistic eye.

This unique small business was created in the hopes of connecting with individuals on a personal level, educating and preserving the health and aesthetics of all trees, shrubs, and plants.
